Job summary

Brobston Group seeks a seasonal operations associate for its flagship store in New York. You will support shipping, receiving, inventory, cash office processes, and various administrative store functions, with a tenure limited to three months.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in retail operations, strong MS Office skills, and excellent time management, communication, and teamwork abilities. The role requires standing, light lifting (≈20 lbs), and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• At least two years of retail operations experience in a support, customer service, or sales capacity.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems.
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts, lift approximately 20 pounds, and pack, unpack, and move stock.
• Passion for the product and a professional, respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain office, facilities, and associate grooming supplies, and coordinate invoice approvals with Accounts Payable.
• Support shrink reduction, inventory preparation and execution, and efficient store processes.
• Process incoming and outgoing merchandise and accurately handle shipping, transfer, inventory, and other operational documents.
• Execute cash office processes and support POS audit compliance.
• Coordinate accessory repairs, engraving, and embossing services with external vendors.
