Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to help keep the store running smoothly before opening. You’ll perform front- and back-room tasks, handle pricing and signing, restock merchandise, and assist customers with a fast-paced, hands-on approach.

This early-morning role is seasonal with a defined employment period, and may extend based on performance and availability. You’ll have opportunities to learn, collaborate with a task team, and contribute to a positive customer experience

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, able to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to work early morning shift and pre-opening tasks.
• Ability to follow merchandising plans and execute store standards.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - assist shoppers and answer questions throughout the store.
• Executes pricing and signing for merchandise to reflect current promotions.
• Restock and replenish merchandise to ensure size and style availability for customers.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and prepare items for the sales floor.
• Maintain stockroom organization, cleanliness, and safety.
