Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale. You will greet customers, operate registers, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments, while meeting store standards and sales goals.

The role supports training of new team members and daily service processes, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and positive customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking with attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• No retail experience required; age 16+; flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute POS and service standards with courteous, fast, efficient service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist training of new hires on service processes and Kohl's standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, replenishing).
