Job summary

Homesense at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a superior customer experience in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll engage with customers, maintain clean and organized spaces, and support various store areas as needed to help the business succeed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, while following loss prevention and safety standards. Prior retail experience is a plus and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Upholds a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and follows procedures.
• Prepares merchandise for sales floor following procedures.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
