Job summary

Kohl’s is hiring for a part- or full-time associate to deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale and in customer service processes. You will greet customers, operate cash registers, and help ensure inventory accuracy while maintaining Kohl’s brand standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services; operate a cash register; scan items; bag merchandise; handle payments.
• Provide courteous, fast and efficient service following POS standards.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register/cash balancing, change orders, and replenishing supplies.
• Demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and a customer-service mindset in all tasks.
