Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Seasonal Peak Associate for a part-time, on-site role in Southwick, MA. You will support register operations, freight receiving, and merchandising to ensure a positive customer experience during peak seasons and new store openings.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandise receiving, handling and stocking experience is preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Legible handwriting and good verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and build friendly rapport through the T.R.E.A.T. model.
• Operate a cash register, handle transactions, assist customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Promote company initiatives like donations, loyalty programs and specials.
• Maintain displays, restock areas, and ensure merchandising standards are met.
• Unload deliveries and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Set up and move fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate opportunities for improvement to store leadership.
• Understand and implement safety protocols throughout the store.
• Maintain a neat, organized and safe environment for customers and associates.
