Job summary

Kohl's in Minnesota is seeking an enthusiastic cashier to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale. You will greet customers, operate the register, scan items, bag merchandise, and process payments while upholding Kohl's service standards.

You will also support inventory accuracy, assist in training new associates, and participate in daily service processes such as cash balancing and replenishment. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and POS procedures.
• Participate in daily service processes like register balancing and replenishing supplies.
