Michaels in Gilroy, CA is hiring a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining attractive, in-stock merchandise while promoting store brands and rewards programs.

The role requires being on your feet for long periods, lifting boxes, and working a flexible schedule including nights or weekends. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast checkout and handle cash to standards
• Engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the VOC survey
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS processes
• Stocking, truck unload, and planogram duties
• Merchandise recovery and store maintenance
• Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully and be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
