Job summary

Michaels in Daytona Beach, FL is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and process fast checkouts. You’ll complete truck unloads, stocking, and store recovery to keep the floor well merchandised and ready for guests.

This role supports omnichannel tasks such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and you’ll educate customers on the Rewards program and private-label cards while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old as stated by Michaels.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; handle returns/go-backs as needed.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
