Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a friendly team member at our Avon, IN store to assist customers, run checkout, and support store operations. You will help shoppers locate products, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and contribute to seamless omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS.

Physical duties include stocking and merchandising with a focus on in-stock conditions. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience; the role requires standing,

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store and lift heavy boxes when needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and enroll in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and general store recovery to support the Brand Promises.
