Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs Inc. is hiring Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills in Manchester, CT. The role supports the Local Manager to lead a seasonal team, drive sales, and ensure a memorable Santa visit and photo experience for families.

Position offers hourly pay ($18.00–$19.00) with same-day pay options and opportunities to return for future seasons. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities, and can work a flexible

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable in a cash handling/sales position.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make sound decisions.
• Availability for required pre-season training.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment and uphold company values and policies.
• Assist with opening-day preparations: hiring, inventory, equipment setup/testing, scheduling, training, and opening/closing procedures.
• Capture photos and help guests select memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures from senior management.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, recruiting, and other admin tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
