Job summary

Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time Restaurant Supervisor for a seasonal role lasting up to 6 months. You will oversee guest service, coordinate with kitchen, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include seating guests, managing side work, assisting with inventory, and supporting the Food and Beverage Manager. Ideal candidates are guest-focused, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
• Acts as a liaison between the service staff and kitchen team to ensure timely and effective communication.
• Ensures the restaurant and related facilities are clean, well-stocked, and organized; inspects equipment and notifies the Restaurant Manager of any maintenance or repair needs.
• Verifies room setup according to reservation or event requirements.
• Ensures all side work is completed, including cleaning equipment and storage areas.
• Assists the Food and Beverage Manager with maintaining food and beverage inventory.
• Assists with the completion of daily operational reports.
• Participates in all meetings required of this role.
• Performs daily operational duties, including serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, room service, and general clerical or cashier responsibilities.
• Occasionally assists department managers with interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, as well as providing recommendations regarding hiring, performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
• Addresses guest concerns, resolves issues when possible, and communicates them to management as needed.
• Assists in coordinating team members.
• Assists in monitoring business volume forecasts and planning staffing levels, productivity, costs, and other expenses accordingly.
• Incorporates safe work practices into all job duties.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
