The Fontaine, A Kansas City Hotel, is seeking a passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join its team and support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, staff training, and ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate has hospitality industry leadership experience, strong guest focus, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a host, server, or cashier; supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control.
• Excellent problem solving skills & ability to multi-task.
• Prior cash handling & experience with MICROS POS system.
• TIPS, CPR & Serve Safe certification preferred.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and support the Restaurant Manager.
• Assist with training and development of staff to ensure exceptional service.
• Direct and motivate the team to deliver high-quality guest experiences.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory, costs, and efficiency to optimize operations.
