Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Seasonal Residential Driver in Elburn, IL. This physically demanding role involves waste/recycling collection on assigned routes, with long hours and the need to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.

Reports to the Operations Supervisor. Requires a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and strong English communication. Seasonal April to mid-December with varying hours and potential Saturday work. Email [e-mail] for application.

Qualificações

• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain one prior to hire.
• No DUI/O VI within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• No license suspensions within the last 2 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Responsabilidades

• Operate vehicle in accordance with safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attend and participate in scheduled trainings and meetings.
• Work with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notify Route Manager of incidents, service interruptions, and customer requests.
• Ensure containers on the route match the service list and are returned clean.
• Complete and submit customer tickets when excessive yardage must be removed.
