Balance Staffing is seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative for PL National. This remote role supports health plan members and providers, answering questions about benefits and coverage, handling inbound calls, and documenting interactions.

Training pays $14.00/hour and post-training pay is $14.50/hour. Hours are 7:00 AM–11:00 PM EST, seven days a week, with eligibility for benefits after 60 days and potential for ongoing work in healthcare services.

Qualifications

• 6 months healthcare-related experience is a plus, OR
• At least 1 year of strong customer service experience with excellent phone and computer skills, OR
• At least 6 months of customer service experience resolving customer issues, OR
• At least 6 months of office experience where the telephone and/or computer were the primary tools used to perform job duties.

Responsabilités

• Help members understand features, benefits, and coverage in their health insurance plans.
• Respond to questions regarding benefits, eligibility, authorizations, EOBs, physician lookups, requests, status updates, and other plan information.
• Handle inbound calls from members and/or healthcare providers professionally and promptly.
• Research and resolve customer concerns accurately following procedures.
