Job summary

Insight Global is seeking experienced HCC Risk Adjustment Medical Coders for a high-volume seasonal project supporting Medicare risk adjustment initiatives. Medicare HCC experience is required and ICD-10 proficiency is essential.

You will review and code medical records in accordance with ICD coding guidelines, meet established quality standards, and maintain a throughput of approximately 2 charts per hour.

Compensation is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, with exact pay based on skills and education.

Qualifications

• Medicare HCC experience required.
• ICD-10 experience required.
• 2 years experience as a risk adjustment coder.
• CCS or CPC certification through AAPC or AHIMA.

Responsibilities

• Code medical records for HCC risk adjustment in accordance with ICD guidelines.
• Review and code medical records to meet risk adjustment guidelines and quality standards.
• Maintain a productivity throughput of approximately 2 charts per hour and meet established metrics.
