Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown in Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Post-Surgical Unit for a Seasonal opportunity. The RN will plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for post-surgical patients, ensuring high quality and safety standards.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, Texas RN license, 1–2 years hospital experience preferred, BLS; ACLS preferred.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Uptown provides a wide range of medical and surgical services for to the greater North Texas area across 8 ORs, 24 private Inpatient rooms, a full-service ED. The hospital specializes in both inpatient and outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, General, Bariatrics, Surgical Oncology, ENT, Reconstructive Surgery, and other surgical specialties.
The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. This position is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
