Job summary

G-III Apparel Group is seeking a Regional Merchandising Coordinator to support merchandising execution across multiple Chicago-area stores. You will partner with store managers to ensure brand presentation, implement merchandising strategies and drive sales, with regular travel between locations.

The role requires strong retail and visual merchandising experience, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in retail merchandising or visual merchandising.
• Experience in department stores, specialty retail, or fashion retail preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail store operations, planograms and visual standards.
• Knowledge of retail math and ability to analyze sales data.

Responsibilities

• Implement regional merchandising strategies across multiple stores to ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with store managers to execute merchandising initiatives and maintain brand standards.
• Conduct regular store visits to train and guide teams on merchandising execution.
• Support visual merchandising including product placement, planograms, displays, and seasonal updates.
• Analyze sales data and store performance to identify opportunities and drive sales.
• Monitor metrics and use insights to inform merchandising decisions.
• Manage project timelines for display updates and seasonal changes.
• Communicate across stores and regional teams to share best practices.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience through product presentation.
