Job summary

The City of Goodyear is seeking highly motivated individuals to work as Recreation Center Attendants at the Goodyear Recreation Center. This part-time seasonal role requires friendly, customer-focused professionals capable of assisting in various operational areas and maintaining a positive environment for all facility users.

Expect to greet patrons, provide information on programs, enforce policies, and help with event setup and daily center maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in customer service.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor users in the weight room, indoor track, gymnasium, fitness studios, teen room, front desk and other areas of the building to safe practices.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet patrons.
• Maintain knowledge of GRC operations and programming to share accurate information with participants.
• Complete signup procedures for GRC programs and rentals such as swimming lessons, sport programs, group fitness classes, ramada rentals and more.
• Answer, screen and direct incoming calls and appointments.
• Clean and maintain the fitness equipment, welcome center, indoor track, storage, lobby and other areas of the GRC.
• Assist participants with acquisition of checkout equipment.
• Assist with event and program set-up/take down.
