Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is hiring a temporary, part-time Ramp Agent. You will process baggage, load/unload aircraft, and operate motorized equipment while ensuring safety and compliance with FAA and SkyWest policies.

The role requires being 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license, plus background checks and clearances. Expect to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
• FAA, TSA, Port Authority, and U.S. Customs clearances may be required
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading aircraft and carts
• Stacking and unstacking baggage in aircraft
• Completing safety checklists for motorized equipment
• Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belts)
• Read and interpret aircraft load sheets and baggage tags
• Escort passengers with special needs safely and courteously
• Ensure compliance with SkyWest and FAA regulations and policies
