Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking Ramp Agents to support baggage handling and aircraft loading at airports in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will help ensure timely service for passengers and work as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, baggage handling, operating conveyor equipment, reading load sheets, and escorting passengers, while adhering to FAA/TSA policies. Both part-time and full-time schedules are possible with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Obtain and maintain position-specific clearances including FAA, TSA, Port Authority, and U.S. Customs.
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading aircraft and carts.
• Stacking and unstacking baggage in aircraft.
• Completing safety checklists for motorized equipment.
• Driving and operating motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belts).
• Reading and interpreting load sheets and checked baggage tags.
• Escorting passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously.
• Ensuring compliance with SkyWest and FAA regulations and policies.
• Clean and service aircraft interiors to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for passengers and crew.
