Knife River Corporation is seeking a Rail Material Handler for a seasonal position in North Dakota. You will move freight and materials from railcars to trucks, often using heavy equipment. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, performing preventive maintenance, keeping records, and maintaining a clean yard while following company policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock and other materials by hand or using heavy equipment.
• Load or unload railcars or trucks by operating heavy equipment and/or hand tools.
• Maintain and clean vehicles, machinery and other equipment and recommend safety improvements.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance including attending training.
• Keep records of materials received and keep the facility yard clean and organized.
