Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company seeks a Rail Dock Forklift Operator for our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This seasonal role supports the fresh pack season, typically July through November, with 1st (7a-3p) and 2nd (3p-11p) shifts.

You will operate a sit-down propane forklift, follow safety and food safety policies, document paperwork, and ensure accurate labeling and inventory control at the site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience driving forklifts
• Forklift certification required
• Pass pre-employment drug test and work extended schedule including weekends during the fresh pack season July–November
• Able to communicate effectively with others

Responsibilities

• Always promotes Food Safety Culture through conversations, communications and actions
• Must be able to stack product straight with a smooth and safe manner
• Receives inventory and puts away raw product, finished goods and materials; high stack pallets of brite stock in order
• Performs daily maintenance checks on assigned forklift
• May ensure proper tags and labels on palletized product; read labels
