Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Seasonal Cook at Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Resort in Odessa, Florida. You will prepare short-order items and serve guests on our quick-service kitchens across the golf courses and shooters club.

The role focuses on efficient food preparation, safe handling, and delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and flexibility with shifts are important to success in this seasonal position.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or quick-service kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification may be required by local laws or employer.
• Strong time management, teamwork and communication skills.
• Availability on weekends and/or holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and assemble menu items like burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and fried snacks using grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow health department regulations and monitor food temperatures.
• Rotate stock, label items and restock condiments and ingredients.
• Greet guests and residents, fulfill orders accurately and maintain a friendly attitude during busy hours.
• Keep cooking surfaces, equipment and prep areas clean throughout the shift.
