Job summary

Primo Brands in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Seasonal Production Technician for our busy period. This full-time role pays $20.00 per hour, with a 6%–8% shift differential; schedule is night shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating cycle.

Seasonal assignments offer a chance to gain manufacturing experience and possibly convert to a permanent role. You will troubleshoot water processing and sanitation equipment, support bottling and QA testing, and ensure lines meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• College level education desired, related area a plus.
• Prior experience performing basic laboratory procedures.
• Exposure to QA or production in a food/beverage facility is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work self-directed and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with sanitation and microbiological control systems preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety and HACCP principles.
• MS Excel/Office, SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic water processing functionality (pumps, valves, piping).
• Troubleshoot water sanitation equipment (CIP system).
• Support water bottling and packaging processes, primarily QA and food safety testing.
• Ensure all lines and processes are validated per compliance standards.
• Complete basic laboratory testing (pH, turbidity, conductivity).
• Daily review of quality data and lab results.
• Manage water sensory evaluations (taste/odor).
• Communicate results, deviations, and improvement plans to team.
• Provide QA training support for QA operators.

Factory Location: Hot Springs, AR
Compensation: $20.00 / hour

Shift Differential: Additional 6%-8% of the base hourly rate for eligible hours worked.

Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, following a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic water processing functionality: pumps, valves, piping, etc.
• Troubleshoot water sanitation equipment: CIP system, etc.
• Support water bottling and packaging processes, primarily QA and food safety testing
• Ensure all lines and all processes are validated according to compliance standards
• Complete basic laboratory testing: pH, turbidity, conductivity, etc.
• Plating of micro samples
• Create spiked samples to test proficiency
• Daily review of quality data from operators
• Manage water sensory (taste and odor) evaluations
• Adhere to site safety and quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Support site and corporate quality initiatives
• Communicate results, deviations, and improvement plans to co-workers and other team members
• Provide QA training support for QA operators

Qualifications

• College level education desired, relevant pursuit of study in a related area a plus
• Prior experience performing basic laboratory procedures
• Exposure to Quality Assurance or Production in a food or beverage processing facility is preferred but not required
• Ability to work self-directed and with a team
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team-based environment
• Experience with sanitation and microbiological control systems preferred
• Familiarity with food safety and food defense requirements, audit and regulatory environments, microbiological testing, MI and other manufacturing control systems
• Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work
• Exposure to Fluid processing and the principles of sanitation science
• Understanding of good manufacturing practices and HACCP principles
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
• Ability to troubleshoot and make independent decisions related to quality and operation excellence
• Ability to move/lift 40 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time throughout the day
