Job summary

Primo Brands in Sacramento is seeking a seasonal manufacturing associate to operate, clean, and service water dispensers and equipment. The role runs M-F with a 6:00am start, with occasional overtime and weekend hours if needed, and offers sick time, employee discounts, and a 401K with a 5% match.

Potential for direct hire based on performance. This position requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year in a related manufacturing role preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• 1 year of related experience; manufacturing in food/beverage preferred.
• Ability to lift and pull 50 lbs throughout shift.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and service water dispensers and equipment.
• Package parts, load raw materials, wash equipment, record data.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow GMPs.
• Interact with production, QC, and maintenance to maximize output.
• Safely handle chemicals and follow SOPs.
• Assemble, wash, and sanitize units per procedure.
• Read and use instructional manuals (mechanical/electrical).
• Use pneumatic drill and hand tools.
• Follow oral and written instructions precisely.
• Work in wet areas with full safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation $22.73 Hourly

Location: Sacramento, CA

Shift: M-F 6:00am start time

*Needed flexibility to work additional hours and weekends if needed*

This position is seasonal, with the possibility of direct hire and increased compensation upon transition to a permanent role, contingent on performance and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and service water dispensers and equipment
• Packaging parts, loading raw materials, equipment washing, quality control inspections and data recording
• Maintain workstation in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Interact with production team members, quality control and maintenance technicians to maximize output and efficiency
• Safely use and work around various chemicals and follow SOP’s accordingly
• Assemble, wash and sanitize various units as required using the established procedure
• Effectively read and utilize instructional, mechanical, and electrical technical manuals
• Capable of using a pneumatic drill and other hand tools
• Considerable ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Work in wet work areas, ensuring the use of proper chemicals and following all safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum (1) years’ experience in related role, prior exposure to manufacturing in the food or beverage industry preferred
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively, with strong communication skills
• Able to lift and pull 50 lbs. as needed while performing work continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb ladders, walk all day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to do physical inspections of equipment that will require climbing, reaching, and extending arms overhead
