County, Inc. is hiring a Program Facilitator to deliver Girl Scout programming to girls in schools and communities with low volunteerism.

The role focuses on providing a safe, quality Girl Scout experience and expanding traditional opportunities within the community. Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Spanish proficiency is desirable but not a prerequisite.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and engaging with the girls.
• Experience working with children in childhood education or a related field is preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Capable of handling sensitive information confidentially.
• Excellent organization/multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation; travel across Suffolk County is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Girl Scout program in schools in areas with low volunteerism.
• Facilitate multiple 20-minute programs using the curriculum from Oct through Apr (3–4 hours per day).
• Work a varied schedule of roughly 15 hours per week as assigned.
• Prep and prep-program supplies and materials for each session.
• Engage and empower girls to grow to their fullest potential.
• Support curriculum development to meet site needs.
• Maintain site registration, attendance, program evaluations, and record keeping; communicate changes with site coordinators.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and CDC guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.
