Job summary

Imagine Learning is seeking a Seasonal Professional Development Specialist to provide content-specific training for K-12 educators, delivering workshops virtually or onsite to support blended and online curricula.

This PRN per diem role offers flexible hours with peak summer demand, up to 10–20% travel, and a comprehensive benefits package. A bachelor’s degree and teaching certification are preferred, with 2+ years of PD experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of PD/training/consulting experience (5+ years preferred).
• Current or past teaching certification and classroom experience preferred.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Collaborative work style and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight timelines.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms; experience with databases.
• Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver content-specific PD, training, and guidance for blended and online programs.
• Design and modify student learning paths and classroom assessments.
• Run assessment reports and deliver engaging workshops to educators.
• Present virtually (webinars) or onsite as requested by districts.
• Coordinate sessions and adapt content to school needs.
