Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? BlueTriton Brands is seeking a Seasonal Production Technician to support customer demand. This full-time role during our "busy season" varies each year. If you're interested in earning extra income, please read on.

Compensation

Pay: $27.49/hour

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours

Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (3/4/4/3)
  • Night Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
  • Day Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed
  • Attendance at training sessions on scheduled days
Skills Required
  • Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment (fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, forklifts)
  • Record preventative maintenance, quality inspections, equipment downtime, and production metrics
  • Follow safety and good manufacturing practices; participate in safety observation programs
  • Communicate effectively regarding operational issues
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics (efficiency, production, downtime)
  • Perform mathematical calculations as needed
  • Conduct hourly quality checks and inspect raw materials
  • Collaborate with team members across departments
  • Attend scheduled meetings
  • Continuously improve line operations and cross-train in other areas
  • Maintain organized and clean workstations
  • Prioritize safety and quality with a sense of urgency
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in clean manufacturing and high-speed production
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong communication skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP is a plus
  • Forklift experience preferred but trainable
  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions
