Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
This role accelerates business value by being responsible for bagging and/or stacking ice on pallets. Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no-nonsense communication, and utilization of facts, servant leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates, and demonstrates lean principles, utilizing methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees, and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Leads and participates in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Internal: P&V Supervisor, other crew members, and maintenance staff
External: None
OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Some decision-making ability. Occasionally shut down the line when defects are noted or safety violations observed. Must work safely and responsibly to protect personnel and property.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have a High School diploma or GED with the ability to count numbers, use basic math, and complete simple paperwork.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout a 12-hour shift. Must be able to work in a room with temperatures of 45 – 60 degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
