Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc is seeking seasonal team members to support Grocery, Guest Service (Front End), Early Morning Production, Produce, and counter roles in Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood. Join a team focused on extraordinary service and a welcoming store experience.

You’ll help guests create meal solutions, merchandise products, and provide friendly, personal service across departments during key seasonal periods.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age or at least 18 years of age in our Deli, Bakery, Produce.
• Experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Physical and Work Conditions: ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and engage with guests to learn their wants and needs.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and assisting guests across departments.
• Weigh and scan products, handle cash, and provide change when needed.
• Gather shopping carts and contribute to general housekeeping throughout the store.
• Slice and prepare meat, cheeses, and ready-to-eat meal solutions; maintain product quality.
• Present a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
