Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking seasonal team members to support Grocery, Guest Service, Early Morning Production or Produce departments, as well as counter support in Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood. This role is temporary to cover peak periods with a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings and holidays.

You will deliver extraordinary service, learn product knowledge, assist guests, and help maintain clean, welcoming departments while upholding uniform standards.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age, or at least 18 years of age in our Deli, Bakery, Produce.
• Preferred: experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and engage with guests to meet their needs.
• Merchandise and stock products and assist guests across departments.
• Weigh, scan, and handle cash; give change where appropriate.
• Gather shopping carts and assist with housekeeping.
• Slice and prepare meat, cheeses, and meal solutions; maintain quality.
• Present a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
