Job summary

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking a Seasonal Poolside Service Attendant. You will help keep the pool area clean, arrange chairs, towels and umbrellas, and assist with running food and drinks while ensuring guest comfort in a fast-paced resort environment.

This is a nonexempt hourly role through Memorial Day 2027 and may extend based on business needs. The rate is $18.00 per hour plus gratuity, offering an entry-level path into Thompson Hotels.

Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 21.
• Comfortable indoors and outdoors with varying weather.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel/resort is a plus.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, arranging chairs, towels and umbrellas.
• Assist with running food and drinks, bussing, and ensure guest comfort.

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking an engaging and hospitality-driven Seasonal Poolside Service Attendant to join our team!

Since opening in 2024, Thompson Palm Springs has quickly established itself as the desert’s most coveted lifestyle resort in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Showcasing iconic mid-century modern design, bungalow-inspired accommodations, iconic dining, and vibrant social experiences, the resort has become a sought-after destination for discerning travelers, luxury weddings, milestone celebrations, brand activations, corporate retreats, and high-profile events.

As a Poolside Service Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, including arranging chairs, towels, and umbrellas. You will also assist with running food and drinks, bussing, and ensure the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests. This is a great entry-level opportunity if you are looking to get your foot in the door with Thompson Hotels!

This is a temporary position anticipated to continue through Memorial Day 2027. The assignment may end earlier or be extended based on business needs and does not create a guarantee of employment for any specific duration.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $18.00 plus additional gratuity.This is the hourly ratefor this position that Thompson Palm Springsreasonably expectsto pay.
