Job summary

Beeflow is seeking a Pollination Field Associate for the Michigan region. This seasonal role supports research trials and data collection during the blueberry season, with field activities and data uploads under the Operations Manager.

The position runs for 6–8 weeks, starting mid April, and requires field work with bees and safety gear. Qualifications include a BS in Entomology or related field, field research experience, interest in pollination, and based in Grand Haven or South Haven.

Qualifications

• BS in Entomology, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, Ecology, or equivalent preferred.
• Field research experience.
• Interest in pollination and agriculture.
• Based in the Grand Haven or South Haven area (Michigan, US).
• Familiarity with Google Suite.
• Clear, prompt communication.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing pollination services to growers.
• Participate in data collection and daily upkeep of data sheets and field notes.
• Tag branches in different crops in a systematic way.
• Provide feedback at the end of projects to identify improvement avenues.
• Support field research trials as needed.
