Job summary

Beeflow, a biotech startup focused on pollination science, seeks Pollination Field Associates to support research trials for the upcoming cherry season. You will assist with data uploading, field data collection, and project logistics, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This seasonal role runs 3–4 weeks starting at the end of March in Oregon, requiring a BS in related fields, field experience, and a willingness to work in outdoor environments with bees and PPE.

Qualifications

• BS in Entomology, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, Ecology, or equivalent preferred.
• Field research experience required.
• Interest in pollination and agriculture.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive long distances.
• Based in Eugene, Corvallis, Salem, Newberg/Wilsonville, or Hillsboro area (Oregon).
• Strong communication and Google Suite skills.
• Comfortable working independently in the field with remote manager support.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing pollination services to growers.
• Participate in ongoing research and development trials as needed.
• Assist in data collection by accurately recording key points and field notes.
• Work efficiently to complete daily activities across multiple fields.
• Help meet target data collection quantities for the season.
• Assist in crop tagging by tagging branches in various crops.
• Provide feedback at project end to identify improvements.
