Job summary

EW Grobbel is seeking Seasonal Pickle Production & Packaging Workers for our Taylor, Michigan facility. This fast-paced, physical role includes preparing, processing, packaging, inspecting, and handling pickle products throughout production.

Shifts: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; pay is $16.50 per hour with potential full-time conversion at Taylor or Detroit facilities. Open positions include Line Worker, Packaging, and Palletizing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in fast-paced production is a plus.
• Prior food production experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep up with the pace of production while meeting quality standards.
• Perform tasks in pickle production and packaging.
• Use hand tools, pallet jacks, and other production equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

Seasonal Pickle Production & Packaging Worker

Position Type: Seasonal, with possible full-time conversion at our Taylor or Detroit Facilities
Pay Range:$16.50 per hour

Employees can be placed in a variety of production and packaging processes associated with pickle production. Responsibilities may include preparing, processing, packaging, inspecting, and handling product throughout the production process. This position is physical and fast-paced.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Keep up with the pace of production while meeting quality standards
• Perform job-related tasks associated with pickle production and packaging
• Use hand tools, pallet jacks, and other production equipment as needed
• Maintain good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Have a positive attitude while upholding a culture of mutual respect for all
• Additional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobs
• Complete any assigned tasks and/or projects as needed
  

Key Qualifications:

• The ability to stand and work for 10 or more hours per shift
• The ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment
• The ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• The ability to work safely around production equipment
• The ability to uphold safe food processing and sanitation standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

*Prior experience is preferred but not required*

Please Note:

This is a seasonal position with the possibility of full-time conversion at our Taylor or Detroit facilities. Full-time positions at our Detroit facility may involve working in colder production environments (35–45 degrees) and handling raw meat.
