Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at Northridge Mall in Salinas, CA. You’ll assist the Local Manager to lead a festive team responsible for capturing memorable Santa visits, photos, and exceptional guest service.

You’ll manage daily photo operations, drive sales, schedule staff, and train team members to ensure a smooth holiday season with strong guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a cash handling/sales transaction position.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently and make sound decisions.
• Availability for required pre-season training and a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Able to work minimum 20 hours per week and lift 10–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment aligned with company values.
• Support opening-day preparations, hiring, inventory, scheduling, training, and opening/closing procedures.
• Capture photos and help guests choose memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures set by senior management.
