Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at Northridge Mall in Salinas, CA. You will assist the Local Manager in leading a seasonal team, drive guest service and photo operations, and help ensure a memorable Santa visit and photo experience.

This role requires 18+ years old, strong communication, ability to handle cash, and flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle cash and sales transactions.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make decisions.
• Available for required pre-season training.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Able to lift 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment upholding company values and policies.
• Assist opening-day preparations including hiring, inventory, equipment setup/testing, scheduling, training, and opening/closing procedures.
• Capture photos and help guests choose memorable souvenirs to take home.
• Resolve customer concerns and service issues to support a positive guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures set by senior management.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and liaison with IT or Local Management as needed.
• Assist the Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, recruiting, and other administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
