Job summary

American Girl Orlando is seeking a Seasonal Personal Shopping Assistant to provide administrative support to the Personal Shoppers and deliver personalized service to customers. The role requires high energy, strong organization, and a customer-first mindset.

You'll assist with events, prepare goodie bags, coordinate appointments, and maintain product knowledge while using Microsoft Office applications. Weekend availability and flexibility for nights and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales and service experience demonstrating success in personalized selling and delivering high-touch customer experiences.
• Must have computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse customer base, including children; strong organizational and time management skills; good verbal and written communication; team oriented; flexible to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium customer service by asking/answering questions, addressing concerns, and responding to special requests.
• Assist with selling and booking in-store events and parties; check in guests for events and prepare gifts/goodie bags.
• Support personal shopping appointments with preparation and on-floor assistance as needed; manage client communications and appointment follow-ups.
