Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a seasonal role in Naples, FL. The position supports nurses with basic care, helps with activities of daily living, and maintains a safe care environment. Shift is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., three shifts per week, through May 2027.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years in acute care or is currently in a nursing program, with Basic Life Support and CPR training desired. CNA/CPCT certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record and report patient data including vital signs and intake/output to the RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, hygiene, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine and stool samples and monitor blood glucose with finger sticks; document results.
