Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Seasonal Patient Care Technician for night shifts in Naples, FL. The role supports nursing staff with delegated basic patient care, vital signs, and daily living activities while maintaining a safe environment and clear communication within the care team.

This position runs nights from 7p to 7a, three shifts per week, through May 2027. Preference given to applicants with CNA certification or current nursing program enrollment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and safety.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and tasks to the RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain infection control and use of PPE in a clean, safe environment.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and comfort needs.
