Texas Health Resources is seeking a Seasonal Patient Care Technician for the Central Staffing Office in Arlington, TX. This PRN role requires availability to work 36 hours per week, with day shifts from 7AM to 7PM and a pay rate of $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is REQUIRED.
• 1 year of experience in the last 3 years is REQUIRED, OR nursing student who completed fundamentals or medical training equivalent.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification REQUIRED upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to plan of care.
• Collect patient data and report significant findings to nurse.
• Assist in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Assist activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.
• Perform technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Enter orders into computer or manual system as applicable.
• Document accurately.
• Adapt care to patient population in collaboration with nurse.
• Incorporate patient cultural/religious needs and beliefs into care delivery.
