Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Florida is seeking a Seasonal Pastry Production Associate to support daily baked goods production. You will follow recipes to prepare pastries, assemble tarts, pies, cakes and laminated items like croissants, Danishes, and cinnamon rolls, and communicate daily production needs to teammates.

You will maintain logs, adhere to GMP/HACCP/FSMA documentation, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across the shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate mix times and temps logs.
• Follow recipes in order to prepare pastry products.
• Be very accurate in mixing, dividing, shaping, proofing, and baking to ensure consistency in daily production.
• Prep and assemble products such as tarts, pies, cakes and laminated products such as croissants, Danishes, and cinnamon rolls
• Follow all GMP guidelines, complete all documentation for HACCP, FSMA, and daily operational sheets as required by food safety plan
• Mix and process cookies, and other pastry items as directed
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Follow production schedule.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
