Job summary

FDS Distributors in Provo, Utah, is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a part-time, seasonal role. You will work in both the warehouse and yard, load trucks, unload inbound shipments, and prepare orders for shipment.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work outdoors in all weather, and operate a sit-down forklift. Prior warehouse experience is preferred and basic math literacy is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• 1+ year in a warehouse or yard position preferred.
• Experience with building materials a plus.
• Must have sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience loading trucks is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard as needed.
• Load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Unload inbound product receiving.
• Pull and prepare orders, including packaging for shipment.
• Complete all work orders accurately and timely.
• Rotate product and move materials using a forklift when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support branch success and provide customer service.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.
