Job summary

Boise Cascade is hiring a Material Handler to support daily distribution yard activities at our Salt Lake City facility. You will handle receiving, storage, and shipping tasks, operate a forklift, and ensure orders match before loading for delivery.

The role requires basic safety understanding, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. We value accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or two years of related work experience.
• Must understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions.
• Experience in warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily distribution yard activities for the facility, including receiving, storing, and shipping/building loads.
• Operate forklift and ensure loads match orders before vehicle exits the yard.
• Provide customer service and maintain good housekeeping; follow safety programs and OSHA regulations.
