Job summary

FDS Distributors in Provo, Utah, is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a part-time, seasonal role. You will work in both the warehouse and yard, load trucks, unload inbound shipments, and prepare orders for shipment.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work outdoors in all weather, and operate a sit-down forklift. Prior warehouse experience is preferred and basic math literacy is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a warehouse or yard position preferred.
• Experience with building materials a plus.
• Must have sit-down forklift experience.

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Material Handler to join our team on a part‑time, seasonal basis. This position is ideal for someone looking for hands‑on work throughout the busy season.

Start Now; expected to end in October; can be extended.

Pay Range: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, as needed.
• Load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Unload receiving of inbound product.
• Pull and prepare orders, including packaging for shipment.
• Complete all work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Rotate product and safely move materials using a forklift (when needed).
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with the team to support branch success and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs or as assigned.
