Job summary

Riverton City is seeking Seasonal Maintenance Workers in the Parks, Water, and Streets divisions within the Public Works Department. The positions offer flexible schedules—up to 20 hours weekly for up to 12 months, or up to 40 hours weekly for up to 5.5 months, with schedules surrounding school classes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and cleaning of park facilities.
• Routine cleaning of park restrooms.
• Repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Seasonal repairs and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Seasonal snow plowing and snow shoveling.
• Seasonal weed abatement on city properties.
• Seasonal assistants with water flushing.
• Any other responsibilities required to maintain effective operations of the department.
