Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is seeking a seasonal Buildings and Grounds Worker in Lanesboro to perform custodial and grounds work, routine maintenance, minor repairs, and related tasks on state buildings, structures, and parks and trails. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm, with occasional travel and a start date around March.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide labor services to Parks and Trails sites and facilities, including cleaning, basic maintenance, mowing, and resource improvement.
• Perform routine repairs and inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Provide information and customer service to facility users.
• Record and communicate work performed to support maintenance needs.
• Complete safety training and participate in job-related training.
