Job summary

Yellowstone Forever operates Park stores in and around the Greater Yellowstone area, delivering educational products and programs. The Park Store Associate greets visitors, assists with purchases, promotes the supporter program, and answers questions about Yellowstone National Park.

The role requires friendly, flexible individuals who can work at elevations, lift up to 40 pounds, and collaborate with staff while representing YF’s mission across multiple park locations.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Proficient with computers and internet applications.
• Ability to use a cash register and add machine.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and complete daily closings.
• Able to work at elevations near 8,000 feet.
• Commitment to Yellowstone Forever's mission.
• Flexibility for nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and assist with merchandise purchases.
• Promote the Yellowstone Forever supporter program to customers.
• Advocate for Yellowstone Forever Institute programs to customers.
• Ring up sales using a POS system.
• Provide superior customer service and problem-solving support.
