Job summary

Three Rivers Park District in Bloomington, MN seeks a Seasonal Park Service Assistant Lead at Hyland Hills Ski Area. The role supports facility, guest services, security and safety to enhance park experiences while protecting district property.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of post‑secondary study in parks and recreation or related fields; a valid Class D driver's license, plus First Aid and CPR certification. EMT or snowmobile certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of post-high school education in parks and recreation, natural resources, social sciences, law enforcement, criminal justice studies or any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above or in pursuit of a career in natural resources/park law enforcement.
• Valid Class D Minnesota Driver's License with the ability to operate cars and light trucks. Must hold current First Aid and CPR certification upon appointment and throughout employment. Emergency Medical Technician and/or State of Minnesota Snowmobile Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility, public relations, security, and safety support to enhance park guest experiences.
• Protect Park District property and resources.
• Support Hyland Hills Ski Area operations as part of a seasonal team.
